Sanford Sabers Men's Hockey Scholarship
2010/2011 Recipient - Curtis Nixon
We are pleased to present Curtis Nixon with the Derek Erb Seeds Inc. Scholarship. The Scholarship was awarded to Curtis on June 23, 2011 during the Sanford Collegiate Graduation Ceremony.
Application Criteria for 2012
The Derek Erb Seeds Inc. Scholarship is presented to a student of Sanford Collegiate who has played for the men’s hockey team for a minimum of two years. If the applicant has transferred to Sanford Collegiate in their senior year they must demonstrate high school commitment of at least 1 year at their previous school.
The successful applicant must demonstrate leadership and a positive attitude both on and off the ice, maintain a favourable attendance record and be pursuing post secondary studies.
The Scholarship Selection Committee will consider the applicant’s application form, attendance record, and essay response. A scholarship of $750 will be awarded to the recipient. Announcement of this award will be made at the high school convocation ceremony.

Oak Bluff Recreation Centre
Derek Erb Seeds Inc. is proud to support the Oak Bluff Recreation Centre. The Oak Bluff Recreation Centre and their troop of volunteers make the facility the "hub" of Oak Bluff, a great place for families to enjoy a skate, take in a community function and a place where you can visit with your neighbours.
